Water into Wine is a brand new live one-man comedy show about Jesus’s top three miracles, the most famous being, well, Jesus turning water into wine.

How can the Bible be funny? James has spent 20 years writing comedy for the BBC, in which time he's written numerous productions for the church, and performed regular at Spring Harvest, Word Alive and the Keswick Convention.

The show is accessible to anyone, regardless of faith and Bible knowledge. Then there'll be an interval, a glass of wine and a chance to ask James anything you like.

James Cary is sitcom writer, author, podcaster and stand-up theologian.

Sitcom writing credits include: Miranda (BBC1), Bluestone 42 (BBC3), My Hero (BBC1), My Family (BBC1), Citizen Khan (BBC1), Hut 33 (BBC Radio 4), Think the Unthinkable (BBC Radio 4); Almost Never (CBBC).

Books: The Gospel According to a Sitcom Writer (SPCK 2021); The Sacred Art of Joking (SPCK 2019); Death by Civilisation (DLT 2013)
